Brewers Player of the Week: Martin Maldonado

MILWAUKEE —
It was a pretty busy week for Brewers catcher Martin Maldonado, and he started one game. Maldonado did two awesome things in two games against the Pirates this past week, and those are why Maldonado lands the Player of the Week honors.
Starting with awesome thing number one. Martin Maldonado is not the heaviest hitter in the world, heck, he only has 12 career home runs. Maldonado did something that you, the next guy, and even Bob Uecker has never seen. Marti knocked the cover off of a baseball. The Bob Uecker call was legendary like usual.
