It was 10 o’clock pm on the West coast, which meant only 3 more hours till 2014 opening day in Sydney, Australia. This day has been greatly anticipated since game 6 of last years NLCS where Clayton Kershaw had one of his worst starts of his career. I’m sure Kershaw, just like the rest of us Dodger fans have been counting down the days till opening day 2014.
After waiting for an hour rain delay, the lineups were announced and the Diamondbacks took the field. The Dodgers, which are technically the road team, went three up three down. Kershaw took the mound and set himself for the first pitch of 2014. Today was time to put last years NLCS in the past.
Kershaw still had some question marks going into their season opener. Giving up 4 runs on 81 pitches in 3 innings on the last game of the season…
